OK.... so I'm a little behind on this post! Stephen and I went to Hawaii in October for the Oral Surgery convention. We didn't do a whole lot of "conventioning", but a lot of vacationing. We flew to Honolulu on Sunday and spent one night there.

On Monday we island hopped to Kauai. We had only planned to stay two nights and head back to Honolulu on Wednesday, but once we got there we realized we really needed to stay another night!
I haven't been to too many "tropical" places, but Kauai is absolutely the most beautiful place I have ever been. Our resort was beautiful. We rented a jeep and did a lot of sight seeing the first day. The next two days were spent laying out by the pool and beach. It was some much needed relaxation time.
While we were in Kauai we went to the Hiva Pacifica Luau. It was AWESOME and very entertaining!
We left Kauai on Thursday and headed back to Honolulu. We stayed at a resort on Waikiki Beach that was unbelievable. It was like a little town with dining, shopping, 7 hotel towers, etc.

How fun? Jay has been asking to go to Hawaii lately. I don't know how he even heard about it! I tell him Mommy wants to go too!!! The pictures are beautiful!
