Christ the Lord is Risen today....

HALLELUJAH!!!
HAPPY EASTER 2008!!!!

Friends, Family, & Faith

FRIENDS:
While in Jackson we were able to get together with the Lampkins. Dawn and Will hosted us at their house and treated us to a great meal. Sara Kennedy, Maddox, and Cooper had a great time playing. At one time during the evening, Dawn went to go check on them and Sara Kennedy had Maddox and Cooper having a tea party. Neither one of them complained at all! We are excited to be able to see them more often in 2 short months!

FAMILY:

Of course fun times were had by all during all the many times together with all the kiddos. Olivia tells me that she is going to stay with me all the time when we move back!! Yea! I need a girl around!

Olivia squeezed between Maddox and Rett.... they want to be right with her!

FAITH:
Construction has begun on Stephen's new office space! HALLELUJAH!!! They have already placed the wall studs & electrical boxes. We were able to do a "stud walk-through". This is where we meet with the architects, engineers, contractors, equipment people, interior decorator, etc and go through each room to approve where outlets have been placed, where sheet rock will go, where x-ray equipment will be placed... all the VERY serious stuff. It was awesome to see the space laid out in person and not just on paper- almost surreal. When we got there I was overwhelmed at how many people it takes to complete a build-out! I have been praying so diligently for these people, this office space, and the path that God has laid before us. There have been a few glitches along the way, but He has promised us that He will not hand us a burden to heavy for our load. With only 3 months until opening, I am trusting Him and keeping the FAITH!

Happy 32nd Birthday Stephen!!!!

Stephen turned 32 on March 18th! Since he was 8 (according to him) his family has eaten crawfish on his birthday every year... so why break tradition?!?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!

Jackson Visit (or should I say craziness)!!

We headed to Jackson on the 14th and boy was it a CRAZY, BUSY week! We knew we had a couple of meetings for the practice and planned to look at some houses, but we didn't know it was going to be quit so hectic!

With approximately 88 days left in Augusta, we were excited to get back and see our friends here!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, we went to the Annual MCG Housestaff Auxiliary Easter Egg Hunt. (The Housestaff Auxiliary is a social/service organizing for students, residents, and fellows wives that I have been a part of for four years.) The Easter Egg Hunt is at the MCG President's house every year. Dr. and Mrs. Rahn's home and grounds are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! This event is always a fun time for all!

Night Swimming

Friday night Stephen and I went to the Y to workout. When we finished we took Maddox to swim in the indoor pool. Last summer it took him a good while to get really comfortable in the water. Stephen wanted to go ahead and start introducing him to it again so he'll be good and ready for the beach in May. Thankfully, he picked it right back up and had no fear!

New Toys!!!!

Last week was a fabulous week at the Greer house! Maddox and I both got new toys....

Maddox's new JEEP!!!!

My new CAMERA!!!!

Our church has a children's consignment sale twice a year. A group of friends and I have volunteered for the last 3 years and gotten some wonderful things for our kiddos. Someone had consigned this jeep, but it needed a new battery. Even with purchasing a new battery we spent half of what it would have cost us to buy it new. Maddox LOVES it!!!!!!!!

As far as my camera goes.... I haven't been very happy with my little digital. It's been taking very pix elated (sp?) pictures and I kept telling Stephen that these are all we have of Maddox. I've had my eye on this particular camera for a while now. Every time I go into a store that has them I go over and dream of having one. Maddox and I ran into Office Depot the other day and went over to dream and they were on SALE!!!!! $140 of the original price!!!!! I called Stephen and told him and he said go ahead and get it.... YEAH!!!!!! I have had the best time this weekend taking pictures of everything I can find. There is so much to do with this camera it's going to take me forever to figure it out. Sorry if things are too dark, too light, etc. I'm VERY interested in photography and hope to take a course one day. Expect to see LOTS of pictures from now on!

Happy Birthday To My Sweet Boy!

It's 3:30 a.m. on February 14, 2006. I wake up thinking I need to use the restroom and as soon as I make it there my water breaks. Wait... this can't be... he's not due until the 25th and I've actually been feeling good! I yell at Stephen from the restroom that my water has broken and he jolts out of bed and starts going in cirlces saying, "What, what, what do we need to do? What are you saying". After he wakes up he decides to take a shower while I tidy up the house. I know Stephen's parents are coming and staying at our house so it has to be clean, of course! I decided not to take a shower because I didn't think it would be 36 hours before I got to have one. What did I know.... first time mom... not very smart! We arrive at the hospital at 5:30 to find out I'm ONLY 1 cm dilated... WHAT... and that my body was really not ready to be in labor. I got my epidural at 10:30 at only 3 cm dilated. We watch the hours go by, and by, and by, and... It's 10:00 p.m. and my doctor decides it's time to start pushing. I push, and push, and push..... for 2.5 hours. It's 12:45 and the vaccuum comes out... Maddox is stuck! 12:56: With another try from the vaccum and one good push out he comes! What a miracle! What a blessing!

This precious gift from God has blessed our lives in more ways than we can count. We have been given the awesome responsibility of being his parents. Our cup runeth over!!!!

Happy Anniversary to Us!!!!

Today marks our 6th year wedding anniversary! I can't believe it has been that long until I reminise. All the memories, places we moved, things we've been through, having Maddox, and so much more makes it seem like we've been together forever. Just when we think we are as close as ever as a couple, something happens to bring us even closer. For this we are so thankful. We are excited to see what is in store for our marriage for the next six years!

It's Official......

Our house is FOR SALE!!!!! Maddox and I put the sign in the yard on Friday! I'll have to admit.... it was very weird. I have been a little sad this weekend. We worked so hard last week and this weekend cleaning, doing touch-ups, etc. Maddox was such a big help. He fell asleep in the middle of the den floor (for those of you that know my child, you know this NEVER happens) with his hand in his cup of Goldfish. We boxed up some things and took them to the Bucklers to help with the "stuffing" under beds and in closets that we have done over the course of three years. On Saturday, I told Stephen that I really loved our house and was sad to be leaving it. He told me that I was feeling that way because we had gotten rid of all of our "stuff" and didn't feel so cramped in this house. He also said he loved this house too, but was ready for something a little bit bigger. I guess I agree with him! The Lord has blessed us in so many ways and we excited about the new road ahead that He has already paved for us.

Yesterday we went to our friend, Madison Bell's, 4th birthday party. The kiddos had a blast as always!

OLIVIA and GattiTown

My sweet niece, Olivia ("idy" as maddox calls her), turned 8 on January 26th! We haven't been able to celebrate with her in four years due to living away. Saturday night we all went to GattiTown. It's a huge Chuck E. Cheese type place without Chuck E. We ate lots of pizza and the kiddos played games. As you can see below, the highlight of the evening was Rett and Maddox bowling!

We hope you had a fabulous birthday livie! We love you!
